Fat Tuesday Address
to a Joint Session of Congress
Join the Northside Republicans for President Trump's Fat Tuesday address to a joint session of Congress. We'll be hosting on Tuesday, March 4 at Glascott's Saloon on Halsted at Webster (2158 N Halsted) on Chicago's Northside, in the 43rd Ward. We're going to cater from a nearby restaurant and there will be a CASH bar.
Glascott's provides us a nice space to converse, mingle, watch, cheer and boo (the pouty-faced Democrats). Sitting behind President Trump up on the rostrum this time will be Republican Speaker Mike Johnson and Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will be jeering and squirming from the cheap seats!
Events featuring President Trump's speeches are always a bit of raucous fun, so make sure you're there to celebrate Fat Tuesday with us and cheer him on!
It will be a $20 charge (to cover the appetizers) for non-members and a separate fee for members of the Chicago Republican Party and the Northside Republican Club (members will receive a separate email in the coming days). There will be an additional charge of $5.00 at the door ($25) if you aren't able to RSVP by Monday, March 3 by 11:59pm.
NON-MEMBER RSVP
Doors to the party room at Glascott's will open at 7:00pm, appetizers will be out by about 7:15pm and the President's speech begins at 8:00pm. We'll have some Mardi Gras tchotchke (chot-ski) but you're welcome to bring your own beads, etc...as well!
Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but we've always found parking on Halsted going north and south of the bar.
