Rogue American Prosecutors, Urban Crime & the SAFE-T Act

On Monday evening, February 13, the Chicago Republican Party will host another special presentation by the Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America, featuring the Heritage Foundation's Zack Smith, offering a presentation for invited Chicago Aldermanic candidates, GOP Committeepersons, all Chicago Republicans and partners of the Chicago GOP.

Zack's bio: Zack is a legal fellow and manager of the Supreme Court and Appellate Advocacy Program in the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation.

He previously served for several years as an assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Florida. Prior to that, he spent two years as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, which he joined after clerking for the Hon. Emmett R. Cox on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Smith received his undergraduate, master’s, and law degrees from the University of Florida. During law school, Smith served as the editor-in-chief of the Florida Law Review, and served on the executive boards of several student organizations, including the UF Chapter of the Federalist Society.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the presentation begins at 7:00pm sharp at Club Quarters Hotel in their 3rd floor conference room, 111 W Adams Street.

The 7:00pm presentation will be next door to Elephant & Castle restaurant & bar, where the Heritage Foundation will be hosting an earlier Chicago-area Heritage Sentinel private reception, as well as their weekly Monday afternoon national phone call. We welcome all the Chicago-area Sentinels to the Chicago GOP/Heritage Foundation/HAFA 7:00pm presentation.
