Several Republican State Rep candidates who would represent Bridgeport & Little Village are in the final stretch of gathering the signatures they need to successfully complete their filing and to get on next November's ballot, and it is now down to the wire.

In response, Chicago Republicans are putting together a "strike group" this Saturday at 10 am to help our most at risk near Southwest Side Republican House candidates secure their ballot position.

We will start the morning off with coffee and breakfast at McDonald's - 3867 S. Archer Ave - and then take the next few hours either canvassing or posting-up in high foot-traffic areas (like a Jewel-Osco, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Mariano's) to gather signatures on petitions for our candidates. The weather is forecasted to be sunny and in the upper 30's. Dress in layers, as some foot traffic will build up some heat.

Afterwards, we will meetup at the same McDonald's - 3867 S. Archer - to notarize our petitions and get them turned in.
