CHICAGO REPUBLICAN PARTY CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETING
Wednesday, January 10 - LaVilla Pizzeria & Banquets, 3638 N Pulaski Road
Social & Pizza from 6:00pm to 7:00pm - Meeting at 7:00pm
The Chicago Republican Party Central Committee will be meeting FACE-TO-FACE on Wednesday, January 10 at 7:00pm, at LaVilla Pizzeria & Banquets, 3638 N Pulaski Road, near Addison and the expressway on the NEAR Northwest Side.
The social hour will begin at 6:00pm in the Belvedere room with some pizza, sodas and water. Cash bar is available and their massive parking lot is south of the restaurant (across the street) on Pulaski.
Items on the agenda will be:
- Recruiting MORE Election Judges & Poll Watchers for your wards
- The need for committeemen and your ward organizations to GOTV (Get Out The Vote) and Ballot Harvest VBM (Vote by Mail) to allow more Republicans to pull (or return) Republican ballots and PARTICIPATE in the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary on Tuesday, March 19.
- Our efforts for county-wide slate for State's Attorney, Clerk of the Circuit Court and the four Republican MWRD candidates, as well as our IL House & IL Senate & Republican committeeman candidates. We'll also touch on the coming slating process for IL House & IL Senate candidates that will occur immediately after the March 19 primary. We need to prep for that, in advance.
- As to the IL House and IL Senate candidates: We remain committed to recruiting for the Run Illinois program and plan to see MORE candidates slated after the March 19 primary for the IL House and IL Senate seats that remain open, as well as possibly filling the District #1 Supreme Court seat, Illinois District #1 Appellate seats and some Cook County judge seats, as well.
- Update on the Chicago School Board elections.
ALSO, we are hosting a Chicago Republican Party MONTHLY DONOR Members gathering on Saturday morning, January 27 at a centrally-located venue. We are planning to have a high-powered speaker to discuss the ups (very few) & downs (very many) of the Brandon Johnson administration for these donors, which include a number of committeemen.
There are committeemen who have expressed an interest in passing petitions for the Parents Matter Coalition to get a Parent's Rights initiative on the ballot. We will have more information on that effort at the meeting.
It's NOT too late to be thinking about running for an office in 2024 (as some are already, OR for CPS School Board) or 2026 or 2027 (Mayor, Treasurer, Clerk, Alderman & CPD Districts). If you would like to discuss these prospects soon - as in: YOU ARE THINKING/PLANNING TO RUN, or JUST SEEKING INFORMATION - contact me!
Please pencil the above dates and times into your schedule and we'll be sending more information very soon.
PLEASE RSVP for Wednesday's meeting or send me a text with your regrets - 773-791-7907
