The January, 2022 meeting of the Chicago GOP Central Committee will begin at 7pm on Wednesday, January 12 at Chicago's Union League Club. Doors will open by 6:30pm. There will be no pre-meeting social in January, however, any post-meeting gathering location will be announced during the session.
The January 12 Chicago Central Committee meeting is open to the public, although Committeepersons and staff will be given preference should we run out of seats. Candidate petition distribution and some education on the prerequisites of their circulation, as well as a review of candidates running in the city, and a presentation by the Chairman - who will present a Policy Committee proposal on addressing CPS and the shortcomings of public education in Chicago - will be the primary focus. We expect that some prospective candidates will be in attendance to meet committeepersons and any of the public who attend.
Masking will be necessary to gain entrance to the Union League facility. Dress code at the Union League Club is business casual. Directions, Public Transportation and discounted parking information is available here. There is some street parking on Federal St, which runs along the ULC between Jackson and Van Buren.
We look forward to seeing you at the Union League Club on Wednesday!
