The Health Care Bill: A "Pyrrhic Victory"Posted by: Lumi Boldovici on Mar 24, 2010 Tagged in: Untagged

The passage of the health care bill represents a Pyrrhic victory for the democratic party. The most unfortunate part is that this bill is a catastrophe for the health care system in America. Instead of moving forward and providing quality health care reform for America. Democrats chose to emulate failed socialized health care systems as anachronistic and inefficient like the Canadian one. Where the health care system is worse than the disease. What I mean by that is that you have a better chance of being killed by the bureaucratic run health care system than the disease itself.
Considering the fact that physician shortage will result in rationalized health care . Not to mention that bureaucrats will be in charge of making medical decisions based on cost efficiency and not the best medical treatment. Those members of Congress who voted in favor of the health care bill need to be provided the same health care services as they offer their constituents. Since, they are so concerned with social justice , Not!
Governments derive their powers from the consent of the governed. Every vote in favor of the health care bill represents a gross violation of the will of the majority of American people that are opposed to this undemocratic measure. As representatives of the American people in Congress one needs to vote based on the will of their constituents. Not, how the speaker of the house, the president or special interest groups dictate. We are in an unprecedented government take over situation as, Dan Proft says: "the public sector is cannibalizing the private sector". And this health care bill is a good example of this preponderant attack on the private sector.
The republican have lost one battle. It is important to win the war! Marbury vs Madison 1803, and judicial review, that means that the Supreme Court has the power to declare any law unconstitutional!!!!!!
