Chicago Republicans

This site has been remiss in not posting this tape of Michelle Bachmann and her remarks at the event on April 17 jointly hosted by the Chicago Republican Party and the Chicago Tea Party Patriots.  It was held at Ditka's Restaurant in Oak Brook. 


The tape made some national stir because just the day before Bill Clinton made remarks to the effect that Ms. Bachmann's many statements against the Obama Administration could result in a new domestic terrorist event such as the tragedy in Oklahoma City in 1995.  (Of course, President Clinton conveniently ignored the fact that bomber Timothy McVeigh openly admitted that his act was in retaliation of the Waco and Ruby Ridge shootouts, and not any general attack on government policies.)  This tape was widely viewed as Ms. Bachmann's response.

By the way, that (very) large person out in the hallway with sport coat early in the video is none other than Chicago Republican Party Vice Chairman (and chicagogop.com blogger!) Steve Boulton, who was running the event for Host James Pollack, a member of the Chicago GOP.


At the 1:05 mark you can see Chicago Republican Chairman Eloise Gerson fly by in a red coat.  Eloise had to leave early to go film a television commercial for GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Bill Brady.
