Republican State Senator Bill Brady now leads Governor Pat Quinn 45% to 38% in Illinois's gubernatorial contest, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state.

Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and 10% are undecided.

I don't get this site's ties to Brady. The name of this site is Chicago GOP. Meanwhile, half the content is about the Gubernatorial race and another 30% on federal issues.

Not enough Chicago issues...

The interesting part of polling data is traditionally Republicans don't show up until very late in the campaign season.

Frequently, Republicans don't start closing the gap until a couple weeks before the election. If Brady and Kirk can maintain even a slight lead going into the fall, they should easily win.

Brady has been such a zero for us here in central Illinois that the idea of him doing nothing for the entire state is truly depressing. There are better GOP candidates.
