I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or throw up reading this one. An actual transcript of a portion of the Charlie Rose show on PBS from last night:
RAHM EMANUEL: First of all, let me say it this way, I hope Mayor Daley seeks reelection. I will work and support him if he seeks reelection. But if Mayor Daley doesn't, one day I would like to run for mayor of the City of Chicago. That's always been an aspiration of mine even when I was in the House of Representatives.
Oh, good! Then he can do to the city budget what he did to the federal one, plus the extra entertainment from daily hangings in Daley Plaza of those who dare to disagree with him. I can see it all now.
