John Kass' Analysis of the Sestak Scandal Is Wrong!Posted by: Lumi Boldovici on Jun 02, 2010 Tagged in: Untagged

So far, the only thing that remains crystal clear about the 'Sestak Scandal' is : NEVER TAKE A JOB OFFER FROM BILL CLINTON!
One aspect that vexes me profoundly is our own Chicago columnist John Kass' analysis of the Sestak affair.
John Kass a fine connoisseur of the Chicago Way modus operandi has made this statement about the the implication of the White House in the affair:
"Some of you will probably accuse me of smoking that last stash of primo Hopium trimmed from the Happy Obama Chia head in my office.
Once my head clears, I might accuse myself, too, but only after I search my scalp for the probe with which White House media guru David Axelrod sucked out my brains.
But the thing is, I must agree with the Obama White House in the matter of this Joe Sestak patronage scandal.
There's no scandal, despite the hopes of Republicans and some journalists."
Really? No scandal, not only that this is a huge scandal and the grounds for a necessary investigation ,but a serious threat to influence and corrupt the democratic process of running for office.
Dear John, here is the explanation why The White House wanted Sestak out of the race. IT was because The White House needed the VOTE from "Specter the Defector" to kill filibusters. Thus, it was indispensable to "Spector the Defector" to have a clear field and win the nomination of the party. Need I say more?
Personally, I do not give a damn what you're smoking as long as you don't trivialize the democratic process and encourage political behavior that exhibits serious evasion from the law. Like for example the deployment of Bill to encourage Sestak to drop out of the Senate race in favor of "Specter the Defector" in order to exempt Barry and Rahm from unpleasant federal bribery statutes.
Evidently, this administration is committed to the total elimination and extermination of opposition from within the party (democratic) and outside the party (republican). This is very troublesome and precarious to representative democracy . A healthy opposition is the secret to the engine of democracy.
Stop feeling sorry for Obama and start feeling sorry for America. If this is monumental work and the president cannot handle it--he has an option. I am sick of hearing apologies for this incompetent administration. That has no solutions to the nation's economic problems except the keep on blaming Bush mantra. Obama is the president now , not Bush.
To postulate we do not need another journalist making unsustainable excuses for the comprehensive impotence of this administration.
So John, have a glass of Metaxa and remember : "Hopium = Skatopium"!
