Rahm Emanuel may not understand that the source of the Palestinian -Israeli problem does not consist of the Israeli government building settlements in Jerusalem. But he is clever enough to understand that a viable source for sustaining the power of the democratic party in America is Chicago. Chicago is a strong base for the democratic party in America.
In essence, it is imperative for republicans in Illinois to restore a balance of power and re-establish the rule of a two party system by winning the governor's seat and yes, the mayor's office.
It is feasible !
The Republican party in Illinois has got plenty of talented individuals who have the ability to restore the so much needed political balance in Springfield and Chicago. Emerging from the gubernatorial race are two brilliant young politicians Adam Andrzejewski and Dan Proft. Both advocated transparency, accountability and the end of corruption.
Dan Proft was right on the money with his slogan "Illinois is not broken: It's Fixed". Proft has a vast political culture and most importantly he understands how the Chicago political game is played.
His ideas to reform the educational system are relevant and he recognizes that the obvious cannibalization of the private sector by the public sector can no longer be sustained in Illinois by perpetual tax increase.
Yes, the Republican party in Illinois has the human resources to provide the leadership necessary in order to lead this state out of the present precarious economic crisis.
So, red is hot, blue is not! Let's paint the town red!
