  I am still wondering what was Janet Napolitano thinking when she justified the administration's position of trying terrorist detainees in New York ? By stating that she is proud of the American values and court system. Does she understand that terrorist don't give a bloody hell about our values or the pride we take in our justice system?

How many more Americans have to die until this administration takes note of the fact that we are fighting an enemy that does not share western values but wants to destroy them?

The ill fated decision of Eric Holder to try terrorist detainees in civilian court will create a media blitzkrieg and polarize public opinion. Exactly what the terrorists want. A circus trial , media exposure and sympathy from useful idiots. Perhaps even a discharge based on PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

During the Vietnam war the Viet Cong designed the war's most brilliant strategy: the Tet Offensive. This consisted of the North Vietnamese attacking symbolic targets like embassies , palaces and most importantly the CBS American Media Center. 

Walter Cronkite who was there at the time covered the event. This presented a turning point in the war for the deceptive media coverage played on instrumental role in the defeat of the American initiative to contain communism in Vietnam. The goal of the Tet Offensive was not military but the American Public opinion's conditioned emotional response based on media manipulation. It definitely succeed , by extending the battle beyond battlefield and politics in the cultural realm, they won the war.

It seems that our enemy understands our cultural psychology better than this administration understands theirs.

Trying terrorists in civilian courts is an unpardonable error.

Now, it seems that the democrats have a brilliant idea in creating economic opportunity in  Illinois by bringing Gitmo detainees to Thomson , Illinois.
