Living and working in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood, I have helped many families and businesses get through difficult times. These experiences have shown me that the hard working people of the 21st District and Illinois deserve better. We need to encourage free market principles, reduce the size of government and lower taxes so our citizens have the confidence to know that their hard work will help them get ahead.

I have been a small business owner for most of my career and understand the struggles of doing business in Illinois. To change the current landscape where Illinois is at the bottom of the list in job creation and at the top in debt, we need to take action and bring individual freedom and accountability back to Illinois.

In addition to managing my own law practice, I have volunteered in the community serving on the board of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois and on a nonprofit organization that provides drug and alcohol counseling. In recognition of my leadership skills and commitment to improving criminal justice, I was appointed to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. I am active in the St. Symphorosa parish where my sons attend school and serve as a Boy Scout Cubmaster.

My work and volunteer experiences bring the right balance of knowledge and skill to end the cycle of failed policies that have made it harder for businesses and families to succeed in Illinois. Working together, we will bring a new formula to Springfield, one that focuses on reducing the state debt and reducing the size and intrusive nature of the government. My priority will be to reform Springfield into a leaner, more effective government that delivers results for all of its citizens.

With your support, I will represent the 21st District with your interests in mind. We will take advantage of Illinois’ location as the cross roads of industry and transportation to attract jobs and families back to Illinois. Working together, we can make a difference.
