After you have registered and your permissions have been changed, this is how to create a blog entry.


1) Make sure you are logged in.
2) Under “User Menu”, click on “My Blog Dashboard
3) You will then see your blog dashboard

4) Click on “Write New Entry” For some reason, it now takes about 30 seconds to load. I may need to archive some files. I’ll eventually get to this.
5) After the window loads, type a title and your text, then hit “Save” or “Save and Publish”



If you are daring, you can try to add a picture. You can upload it from your hard drive (browse to find, then hit “upload”). The blog component was just upgraded and there is a known bug. Sometimes the picture loads above the title. If this happens, you won’t be able to add a picture to the blog this way. You can email it to me if you really want it or just have text. I will install the fix as soon as the guys from the component section have completed the fix. (Apparently everything works well in Firefox). (This has been fixed)

There is another known bug. If a post is edited, the date will change (a day or two back). You merely need to edit the date also. Will try to get this fixed too.
