I'll be there, but I want property taxes out front and center:
No more of this bartering where Republicans give Democrats free reign on property taxes in exchange for their support opposing income taxes, government fees, and industry-specific taxes.
No more blind spots or sympathy for local government spending; when all government, big or small, is the problem.
No more whining about government spending; take initiative and block them from taking our money. Stop them in circuit court, stop them in federal court, stop them on the news, stop them in the County, stop them in the General Assembly, stop them in the Executive Branch, and stop them in Congress.
And when David Jenkins calls the Cook County Republican Party, Illinois Republican Party, Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno's Office, or House Minority Leader Tom Cross's Office...please make damn sure my issues see legislation.
Otherwise it's all lip service.
Who are all the stupid people who haven't decided yet, anyways? The best candidates, like Plummer, couldn't be more obvious.
And the losers, like Murphy, couldn't possibly screw us any more if they wanted to.
I don't know how you could say that with Matt Murphy under your name:

If Murphy were a Knight, his name would be Sir Taxalot; because that's what he did to his own constituents.
And what about campaign contributions to Mayor Daley? Are you going to pledge, Andy, to stop doing that?
I've just recently had the pleasure of making Mr. Fischl's acquaintance, and I think he's going to be one hell of a House Rep; and he's going to help make life in Illinois alot better for alot of people.
The people of Evanston and New Trier should put him into office, without the help of special interests, because he'll ROCK THE HOUSE and make their communities better for business owners, and individual taxpayers alike.
Lance Trover,
You're a liar. Plain and simple. Mr. Murphy voted and sponsored a bill to increase my taxes by far more than I could realistically afford, and has since hidden behind his secretary, Agnes, since I've called him out.
http://www.mattmurphyslaw.blogspot.com/
He's the concensus candidate...for Springfield. And nothing's going to change if he's allowed to advance.
And you, Lance, are the problem with special interests that is ruining our entire country. While people like Murphy sell-out the people of his own district in lieu of the money from special interest developers, TIF-recipient contractors, and a variety of other pork-barrel campaign donors; he can afford to buy you - a liar - to represent him.
Cordially,
David
Bush was the worst President we've ever had, followed by Carter for a close 2nd, and then Obama, who impressively enough, has made the list only a year into his term.
If the GOP is posting stuff like this, then we haven't learned the lessons that put Obama in office in the first place.
This guy does his homework. I only wish I lived in his district, so I could vote for him.
This is one exciting and unique "politician" for all of us to get behind; with a message that is as unique as he is.
It's almost as if the McKenna/Murphy campaigns took a page right off of my SPEAKERMADIGAN.COM site, and prepared this campaign specifically to pander to the Democratic special interests in an effort to send ME a message.
FACT: In case you don't know, Saviano accepts more money from special interests than do most Democrats. Sullivan, unfortunately, isn't much better.
This campaign appeals to the lowest common denominator within the Republican circles: those who pay the least attention to details. And it begs that people vote based on false advertisements and establishment endorsements that love and maintain the status quo.
I don't trust anyone that financially supports Lisa Madigan's AG campaign, and you shouldn't either.
