20 - Racism Resolution Print E-mail

racismruinslives.jpgThe Republican Party has allowed others to define the arguments of civil rights during the last couple of decades. The examination of issues most relevant to African Americans, reaffirm our political ideal of working toward self-empowerment and individual freedom.

The social engineering policies of the Democrats have proven to be destructive to the black family, black empowerment, and black self-confidence. The Republican Party now offers a solution to the structural barriers to social and economic mobility.
While Democrats, for political gain, continue to push enabling dependency programs which destroy the black family, we can no longer remain silent to slavery 2.0. It is unacceptable that the Cook County Democrat machine prevents the natural leadership from emerging in the poor black communities simply for the personal gain of a few.

Unless both political parties have the opportunity to compete for the black vote, the interests of the black community will not be represented in government. To that end, we confidently extend the hand of welcome to any in the black community who would like to join us in reshaping Chicago for the betterment of all.

The Chicago Republican Party declares racism is an important, critical moral issue that we will address, until this moral disease has been completely eliminated from our society. We encourage every government official, candidate, and interest group which is truly interested in changing the lives of African Americans for the better to sign our “Racism Resolution.”
