The Republican Party filed D-4 Complaints on September 30, 2005 with the Illinois State Board of Elections against 16 Democratic Ward Organizations for operationg political organizations out of taxpayer funded Aldermanic Service Centers.
This is equivalent to Obama housing the DNC in the White House for free.
Our investigation revealed there were no rent payments for 16 Democrat ward political organizations.
Campaign disclosure laws mandate that all cash flow associated with political committees must be transparent. These disclosures are available by reviewing the Illinois State Board of Election website.
The 16 wards in violation represent 1/3 of city council. This was even more widespread before U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald came to Chicago.
35 of 50 (70%) City of Chicago Aldermanic Service Centers are combined with Democrat Party Organizations
16 Democrat political organizations use taxpayer dollars to fund their political operations.
$96,000/year of taxpayer money used to fund Democrat Party political organizations. ($500/month)
$1,536,000 or more of taxpayer money used on Mayor Daley's watch.
